What Is a Gas Burnisher and Why Use One?
A gas burnisher is a propane or LPG-powered floor polishing machine that spins a buffing pad at very high speeds — typically between 1,500 and 3,000 RPM — to create a high-gloss ‘wet look’ finish on hard floor surfaces including vinyl composition tile (VCT), terrazzo, concrete, and marble. The heat generated by the high-speed pad causes floor polish to harden and bond to the surface, creating a durable, reflective shine that low-speed electric polishers cannot achieve.
